Overnight lane closures set for I-5 in Ferndale through Oct. 17

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will implement overnight lane closures on I-5 in Ferndale from October 12 to 17. The left lane of southbound I-5 will be closed from 8 p. m. to 6 a. m.

This work is part of a significant project aimed at improving a 10-mile stretch of highway between Blaine and the Nooksack River. Crews will repave the road and install cable barriers to enhance safety and traffic flow.
