Whatcom County will celebrate its maritime heritage with the Bellingham SeaFeast festival from September 27 to 28 at Squalicum Harbor, featuring a seafood market and a beer and wine garden. The festival offers activities like boat building and chainsaw carving demonstrations, making it a family-friendly event. Concurrently, the Sunnyland Fest will occur from September 26 to 28, where five local breweries will release special beers and offer food and raffles. Families can also explore the “Reflections of the Land” art exhibit in Ferndale, showcasing Nepalese and Coast Salish artists’ work. The exhibit is open Friday and Saturday from 1 p.

m. to 5 p. m. Additionally, Haan Tandoor and Bar, a new Indian restaurant, invites patrons to enjoy its offerings in downtown Ferndale. Live music includes Brittany Collins at the Shakedown and Energy Pyramid at Blue Room, promising engaging performances.
