near the Coal Creek Bridge, focusing on clearing catch basins, removing hazardous trees, and repairing guardrails and shoulders. Travelers wishing to continue past the closure must reach Picture Lake before 7:30 a. m. and will be unable to return until after 4 p. m.

The road to Artist Point will also close annually in late fall or early winter, adding to the seasonal closures in the area.
