In NFL news, the 49ers have placed star tight end George Kittle on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury, sidelining him for at least four games. Additionally, quarterback Brock Purdy may also miss time due to injuries sustained in the recent game. The 49ers waived kicker Jake Moody after his missed field goals in their season opener against the Seahawks.
