The victim reported that Drager threatened her with a knife, assaulted her, and stole her wallet, which was later recovered by police. Community members and local businesses played a crucial role in identifying Drager through tips and surveillance footage. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Drager's residence, where they discovered clothing he wore during the assault and evidence he attempted to change his appearance. Sheriff Donnell “Tank” Tanksley noted the profound effect of the crime on the victim and the community, commending the collaborative effort that led to the arrest.
