Mount Baker Theatre announces 2025-26 shows, celebrates 100th season

The Mount Baker Theatre (MBT) in Bellingham, WA, has announced its 2025-26 Main Stage Season, which will kick off on September 20 with Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti. This season is particularly notable as it marks the theater's 99th, with preparations already in place for its 100th anniversary celebration. The lineup includes 25 events, featuring a Broadway Series with the "Tina Turner Musical" and a Movie Palace Series with a "Ghostbusters" double feature. Other highlights include performances by NPR’s Ira Glass, comedian and magician Michael Carbonaro, and an international comedy competition. Executive Director John Purdie stated that ticket sales for members start on July 23, while the general public can purchase tickets beginning July 30.

He also advised those unable to secure tickets immediately to keep checking back, as members can exchange tickets, and a waiting list will be maintained for sold-out shows. The MBT has a long-standing history of providing diverse entertainment options to the community, contributing to local culture.
