Bellevue Downtown Association Welcomes New Staff

The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is reinforcing its team with new appointments to better serve its growing downtown community. Apryl Battin has returned as the Director of Marketing & Partnerships, having previously increased sponsorship and marketing relationships for major community events. Augusta DeVries will now serve as the Director of Membership & Community Development, drawing on her local planning experience to foster connections with downtown businesses. New hire Tim Kelley replaces DeVries as the Transportation Program Director, where he will implement multi-modal mobility strategies, having previously contributed to the successful launch of Capital Bikeshare in D. C.

Additionally, Rebecca Comegys steps in as Member Services & Office Manager to enhance member engagement and operational efficiency. Patrick Bannon, BDA president, expressed pride in the talented new team and its potential to strengthen community value. These strategic hires reflect the BDA's proactive approach to supporting its 260+ members amidst Bellevue's urban growth. Established in 1974, the BDA is dedicated to fostering economic and creative vitality in the downtown area.

The farm stands at both locations will also operate with extended hours throughout the summer.
