The event awarded the Place Making Awards to significant projects, including the Downtown Park 'Complete the Circle' and the Lincoln Square Expansion, showcasing the city's dedication to community enhancement and inclusivity. The Downtown Park, celebrated for its historical significance and recent renovations, reflects a commitment to creating spaces for all residents. In contrast, the Lincoln Square Expansion stands as a monumental achievement in private construction, transforming the downtown skyline and offering a vibrant mix of commerce and living spaces.
