The Bellevue Downtown Association (BDA) is gearing up for its 45th Annual Celebration, set for February 7, 2019, at the Meydenbauer Center, where over 500 business and community leaders will gather to celebrate the dynamic evolution of Downtown Bellevue. This event serves as a platform for recognizing the contributions and achievements that have shaped the local landscape. Keynote speakers include Margaret A. Meister, CEO of Symetra Financial Corporation, a leader in the life insurance industry with significant local and national influence. David T.

Downey, President and CEO of the International Downtown Association, will provide insights on the future of urban centers in the U. S. , discussing trends that impact community building. In addition to the keynote addresses, the BDA will honor an organization with the Place Making Award for their efforts in enhancing Bellevue’s urban environment, as well as an individual with the John Boespflug City Builder Award for exemplary service to the downtown community.
