Vulcan Real Estate unveiled its ambitious plans for Downtown Bellevue during the June Bellevue Downtown Association Breakfast, focusing on the Bellevue Plaza and the 555 project. Sharon Coleman, the Senior Director of Real Estate at Vulcan, articulated the strategic importance of Bellevue for these developments, highlighting the demand for commercial space and the city's overall livability. Bellevue Plaza will consist of three towers featuring 880,000 square feet of office space, alongside 30,000 square feet of retail, enhancing the urban landscape. The 555 project, set to soar to 600 feet, will be one of the tallest buildings in Bellevue, reflecting modern design that pays homage to the region's agricultural roots. Key features of both projects include extensive open spaces, pedestrian-friendly designs, and connections that promote community interaction.

Construction is anticipated to begin by the end of the year, with completion timelines set for 2022 to 2023. These developments are not only aimed at fulfilling commercial needs but are also expected to create a dynamic skyline that signifies Bellevue's growth and innovation. The architectural vision includes unique elements that will distinguish the buildings while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
