From Pillows to Face Masks, Soaring Heart Fulfills a Need in Bellevue

Bellevue, WALocal News

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Soaring Heart Natural Bed Company in Bellevue has shifted its focus from traditional sleep products to producing certified organic cotton face masks. With Washington state enforcing mandatory facial coverings, the company aims to provide comfort and safety to the community while staying true to their non-toxic product philosophy. Owner Mike Schaefer mentions that the masks are designed for comfort, likening them to a favorite pillow rather than a flashy accessory. In addition to mask production, Soaring Heart has actively contributed to local healthcare efforts by assembling over 250 N95 masks for Evergreen Hospital. The company also donates bedding supplies to various local organizations, including the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

As they prepare to reopen their storefront on July 1, they have implemented new safety protocols to ensure a safe shopping experience. Their community-driven approach underscores the vital role of local businesses in times of crisis. Soaring Heart’s commitment to quality products and community support exemplifies resilience and responsibility in challenging times.
