Bellevue, WALocal News

Resonance Events will reopen its doors on July 16, 2021, marking a significant moment after a long 16-month shutdown due to COVID-19 restrictions. General Manager Kristopher Jenkins detailed how the venue adapted by utilizing virtual tools and forming collaborations during the closure. Despite the financial strain and loss of partnerships, the venue's owner, John Su, remained committed to keeping Resonance Events afloat. Significant improvements were made to the venue, including new lighting, sound systems, and the introduction of multi-camera streaming technology. The newly launched Overtone Series subscription service allows patrons to enjoy hybrid events, whether in-person or via livestream.

Subscribers will receive added benefits such as discounted tickets and exclusive event invitations. Jenkins expressed excitement about the return of live music and the communal experience it brings. The Gothard Sisters are set to perform at the venue on reopening night, with more events planned throughout the summer.
