Caf Cesura Opens Second Location in Downtown Bellevue

Bellevue, WALocal News

Café Cesura, a popular coffee shop in Downtown Bellevue since 2011, is excited to announce the opening of its second location on June 4, 2022, at the Holden of Bellevue. Owner Shawn Nickerson describes the new space as sophisticated, featuring dark teal walls and cozy wooden booths, along with large windows that allow ample sunlight. A significant addition to the menu will be the offering of alcohol, including specialty espresso cocktails and local wines, aimed at energizing the community further. The expansion comes on the heels of a challenging pandemic that saw a drastic 80% decline in sales, but Nickerson credits the Bellevue community for their unwavering support during tough times. He envisions the new location as a vibrant neighborhood café and has plans for further business ventures, such as opening a bar named Silkies and a luxury bodega.

Nickerson's philosophy centers on making a positive impact through his businesses, reinforcing Café Cesura's motto of "do good things with your hands. " This growth not only highlights the resilience of local businesses but also the evolving landscape of Downtown Bellevue. Residents and visitors are encouraged to celebrate the grand opening and explore the new offerings.
