Darcy McInnis, the communications manager at the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, explained how the event has grown since its inception in 2010, with last year's record attendance of 9,000 visitors. The garden has also seen an increase in annual visitors, now reaching around 400,000, thanks to its diverse programming and welcoming atmosphere. The Arts in the Garden event not only highlights local talent across various mediums, including glass, ceramic, and concrete, but also serves as a platform for community engagement.

The event's free entry removes financial barriers, making it an inviting experience for everyone.
