The Bellevue Botanical Garden's Garden d’Lights has evolved from a small display in 1994 into a beloved holiday tradition, attracting nearly 70,000 visitors each year. This magical event features a half-mile walking tour illuminated by half a million lights, crafted into botanically accurate representations of plants and animals. The dedication of over 500 volunteers, including a core group of 30 who work year-round, is key to its success. Emphasizing community spirit, the garden offers special $5 admission nights to ensure affordability for families. New features for the 2024 season include a scavenger hunt with a debut caterpillar critter and several new plants in the display, appealing to both returning and first-time visitors.

Live music performances by local artists enhance the experience. Timed tickets are available online for easy planning. Running from November 30 through December 31, Garden d’Lights promises an enchanting experience for all ages in Bellevue.
