Bellevue, WALocal News

Bellevue's open house on November 20, 2025, will debut the preliminary Diversity Advantage Plan 2035 at City Hall from 6 to 8 p. m. The event will showcase how community feedback informed the plan's update, coordinated by the Centering Communities of Color Coordination Team. Initially adopted in 2014, the original plan included 60 specific recommendations aimed at enhancing community inclusivity. The updated plan aspires to foster collaboration between residents and the city to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Dinner and activities for children will be available, and preregistration is required for attendees. The engagement process, which took place from 2023 to 2024, involved consultations with various community members to address their needs. For alternate formats or accommodations, individuals are encouraged to contact the city 48 hours in advance. This initiative emphasizes Bellevue's commitment to improving the quality of life for all residents.
