High Street Residential, a division of Trammell Crow Company, is moving forward with plans for a new residential development at 11040 Main Street in Bellevue, seeking Design Review approval for the project. This mid-rise building is designed to stand seven to eight stories tall and will encompass around 420,511 square feet, housing 350 residential units that will include both market-rate and affordable options. The development plan emphasizes community enhancement, featuring a new bike lane dedication along Main Street and expanded sidewalks to improve pedestrian access. Furthermore, the project will introduce new landscaping and trees, along with a public plaza that will provide over 3,000 square feet of open space for residents and visitors. The current office building on the site, which is home to John L.

Scott, will be demolished, prompting the company to relocate to a new office space. Designed by Weber Thompson, the project's construction is slated to begin in spring 2026, signaling a significant investment in Bellevue's residential landscape. The development's focus on affordable housing and community infrastructure reflects a growing trend in urban planning aimed at accommodating population growth while enhancing livability. With these planned developments, Bellevue continues to evolve as a vibrant urban center.
