New Residential Development "High Street Residential" Planned for Bellevue

Bellevue, WALocal News

High Street Residential, a division of Trammell Crow Company, has submitted a proposal for a new residential development in Bellevue at 11040 Main Street. This ambitious project aims to construct a mid-rise building that will stand seven to eight stories tall and house 350 residential units, offering a mix of market-rate and affordable housing options. In addition to residential space, the development will include approximately 117,200 square feet dedicated to below-grade parking and mechanical facilities. Critical improvements to the surrounding infrastructure are part of the plan, such as a new bike lane along Main Street and widened sidewalks to enhance pedestrian access. The project will also introduce new landscaping and trees along the street frontage, along with a public plaza that will provide over 3,000 square feet of open space for community use.

The existing commercial office building, currently occupied by John L. Scott, will be demolished to facilitate the new construction, with the office relocating to a new site. Designed by Weber Thompson, the project is set to begin construction in spring 2026, marking a significant addition to Bellevue's residential landscape. This development highlights the city's commitment to increasing housing options while improving local infrastructure and community spaces.
