Bellevue will open applications for its Cross-Cultural Center Without Walls program on September 15, aimed at funding organizations that host free events promoting intercultural engagement. In its inaugural year, the program saw 19 organizations conduct 60 events, serving over 4,000 attendees and gathering valuable participant feedback for improvements. The city’s goal is to enhance interactions among diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural groups. A virtual information session is scheduled for September 18 to assist applicants with the process. Interested parties must preregister to attend.

The program reflects Bellevue's commitment to fostering community cohesion through cultural exchange. For those needing accommodations, the city offers assistance with 48 hours' notice. This initiative underscores Bellevue's ongoing efforts to embrace and celebrate its multicultural community.
