Over 10,000 jobs were created between 2020 and 2023, with downtown experiencing significant growth of 4. 3 million square feet in office space. The council also enacted new rules for excluding individuals from meetings for violating decorum, extending the exclusion period to 180 days. Additionally, service on advisory boards will now be limited to two consecutive terms. Proclamations were made for Eastside Welcoming Week and Hunger Action Month, highlighting community engagement.
