Bellevue engages community to refine communication methods, messages
Bellevue will host a community listening session on Sept. 25 to gather input on how residents perceive the city's identity and communication methods. Attendees will participate in small group discussions focused on their values and preferences. An online survey, available until Oct. 5, will complement the listening session, with translated versions accessible from Sept.
15. The feedback will be compiled into a report for the city council to guide future communication strategies. Additionally, a related community survey will launch in late September to assess engagement and accessibility. Community participation is crucial for understanding residents' priorities and improving city outreach efforts. This initiative supports two of the Bellevue City Council's identified priorities for 2024, emphasizing the importance of aligning city communications with community needs.
