Movies under the stars at Downtown and Crossroads parks

Bellevue, WALocal News

Bellevue will host its annual Movies in the Park series this summer, featuring free PG-rated films at Downtown Park and Crossroads Park. Downtown Park will showcase movies on Tuesdays from July 15 to August 19, while Crossroads Park will offer screenings on Thursdays from July 31 to August 21. Each event will include performances by local musicians and interactive entertainment for attendees, starting pre-movie activities at 7 p. m. and films at dusk.

The initiative aims to strengthen community ties and provide enjoyable summer activities for families. Bellevue officials anticipate significant attendance, as previous iterations of the series have drawn large crowds. This year’s lineup promises to engage audiences with a variety of films and entertainment options. The program not only highlights local talent but also promotes outdoor family-friendly experiences. Such initiatives are crucial for enhancing community spirit and cultural engagement in the city.
