H-E-B collaborates with Austin nonprofit Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers (HOME) to launch a monthly concert series titled "True Texas Tunes. " The concerts will take place at the South Congress H-E-B from 11am to 1pm on the third Saturday of each month, starting this Saturday. Marcia Ball's Boogie Trinity will kick off the series, which is free and open to the public. Heidi Anderson, H-E-B's senior director of public affairs, emphasizes the goal of honoring the musical heritage of South Austin. This initiative also acknowledges the support of loyal customers during the store's renovation.

Future concerts will feature well-known local artists such as Shelley King and Carolyn Wonderland. HOME provides financial assistance to aging musicians, underscoring the importance of community support for local talent. The concert series reflects H-E-B's commitment to enhancing local culture and fostering community connections.
