m. Wednesday, providing refuge for around 550 individuals. Austin-Travis County EMS reported multiple cold-related incidents and injury collisions, highlighting the need for public caution in these frigid temperatures. Residents are advised to dress in layers and remain vigilant for signs of cold-related illnesses. The city encourages individuals to call 9-1-1 for emergencies only, while other inquiries should be directed to 3-1-1.
