H-E-B launched a free concert series called "True Texas Tunes" at its Lake Austin location, starting today with a performance by Tomar and the FCs. The initiative is a collaboration with the nonprofit Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers, designed to promote local artists. Due to overwhelming attendance at the first two shows, H-E-B decided to extend the series to include this additional venue. Concerts will occur weekly on Wednesdays from 4-6 p. m.
