20-year-old man shot during attempted robbery near Atlanta gas station, police say

Less than an hour later, a 20-year-old man was dropped off at Grady Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound, which investigators believe resulted from the robbery attempt. Officials stated that the victim is alert and expected to survive.
