Bodycam Police confront armed man wandering in Atlanta neighborhood

Atlanta police arrested 25-year-old Jaulil McGlothlin after he reportedly fired multiple shots in a southwest neighborhood. Officers responded to the scene at Garibaldi Street SW and Stephens Street SW around 6:45 p. m. on Tuesday, following calls about a man walking with a gun. A vigilant witness captured a photo of McGlothlin and sent it to 911, aiding the police response.

Upon arrival, officers confronted him, leading to his surrender without further incident. Police charged McGlothlin with reckless conduct, and he is now held at the Fulton County Jail. The Atlanta Police Department emphasized the importance of citizen involvement, stating, "when citizens see something, they should say something.
