Arlington will celebrate the grand opening of the Smokey Point Community Park on May 31, marking the start of an exciting summer filled with community events. The Arlington Farmers Market will operate every Saturday from May 10 through September 13 at Legion Park, featuring a variety of activities including live performances and children’s events. Music in the Park will take place on Saturday evenings, showcasing local bands, and is funded by the city's Hotel Motel Tax Fund. Additionally, the community is invited to attend the new Hometown Fly-In event at the Airport. Mayor Don Vanney expressed gratitude to community members for their efforts in organizing these activities, which enhance local engagement.

The summer schedule also includes the Show & Shine Car Show, July Fourth Celebration, and various other events that promote community spirit.
