Construction Project Update Broadway Street Opens, Prepare for Division Street Closure

Broadway Street will reopen to the public over Labor Day weekend as construction in Arlington, WA, progresses. Division Street will close on September 2 for phase 2 of the project, which is expected to be completed by October 6. Work will take place Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 a. m. to 7:00 p.

m. , involving roadway excavation, concrete removal, asphalt demolition, and stormwater catch basin relocation. The city advises residents to utilize designated detour routes when traveling or accessing local businesses. Temporary bus stops will be available for Community Transit users throughout the construction period. A detour map is provided on the project webpage for easier navigation.

Landscaping work on Phase 1 will resume when the rainy season begins. Residents can sign up for weekly email updates by contacting the city projects office.
