Mayor Matt will not seek re-election

Miller expressed confidence that the community will continue to flourish while retaining its beloved small-town charm.

He noted his pride in the accomplishments made during his tenure as mayor. After his term, he intends to remain active in the community in a different role. The announcement marks a significant transition for Anacortes as it prepares for new leadership.
