Veterans gather at historic park

Veterans, Scouts, and community members gathered at Causland Memorial Park on Tuesday to commemorate Veterans Day 2025. The American Legion hosted the event, with participation from Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) members. Celebrations included a parade, flags along Commercial Avenue, and a dinner at First Baptist Church. Anacortes Middle School continued its annual tradition of displaying photographs of veterans on “M” Avenue and 22nd Street.
