Gallery hosts studio tour

Scott Milo Gallery invites the public to join the 98221 Studio Tour on September 6 and 7, celebrating Anacortes artists. The event features new works from Leo Osborne, Lanny Bergner, Keith Sorenson, Irene Graham, and Tiffanie Mang. Osborne presents a collection of gold leaf and acrylic paintings alongside his sculptures, while Bergner unveils a “Feather” themed mesh series and will sign his book, “The Art of Metal Mesh Basketry. ” Sorenson showcases vibrant landscape oils, and Graham highlights soft pastel landscapes and seascapes. Mang focuses on small format plein air gouache works.

The tour runs from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. , with a reception for the artists on September 5 from 6-8 p.

m. Bergner will conduct a demonstration of his flame-painted mesh on September 6, and Mang will be featured on September 7. This event provides a platform for local artists to engage with the community and showcase their latest creations.

Community leaders attended to reaffirm the refinery's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
