First Friday Artwalk September 5

Anacortes will host its First Friday Artwalk on September 5 from 6 to 8 p. m. , inviting the community to explore local artistry. The event will feature multiple venues, including Scott Milo Gallery, showcasing artists like Leo Osborne, who presents gold leaf and acrylic paintings, and Lanny Bergner, known for his mesh artwork. The Studios Above Scott Milo Gallery will display Cathy Schoenberg's florals and Michael Clough's sculpted oils, while Amelia Kaiser Art Studio will feature whimsical watercolor illustrations.

Bob Hogan will showcase local landscapes at Adrift, and MoonWater Arts will register students for popular Fused Glass Classes. This artwalk not only promotes local artists but also fosters community engagement, making art accessible to all. The event reflects Anacortes' commitment to celebrating its artistic heritage and supporting local talent. Attendees can interact with artists and learn about their creative processes, enhancing the cultural fabric of the community.
