Anacortes Police logged numerous incidents from July 18-24, 2025, including a report of an unconscious man in a store restroom, who was treated by medics on-site for a possible overdose. Officers also addressed a situation involving a man dancing on the white line of Highway 20, who complied with requests to stay off the road. In another instance, police received reports of a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated neighbor verbally abusing his family, resulting in officers providing domestic-violence resources to the wife. They responded to a disorderly complaint at a bar where a man threatened staff while holding scissors, after being cut off from alcohol. Officers educated him on proper cigarette disposal after he caused a dumpster to smoke.

Additionally, a concerned citizen transported an injured seagull to a veterinarian for treatment. Lastly, police clarified a report of a stolen dog, which was found safe at home, highlighting the importance of accurate information in such cases.
