The First Friday Artwalk on August 1, from 6 p. m. to 8 p. m. , will celebrate local artistry and culture alongside the opening of the 2025 Anacortes Arts Festival.

Rockfish Grill will feature live music from Bluesfish and display artwork from local high school students available for purchase. Meanwhile, Chilly Rain Retro will launch a new line of vintage jewelry, complemented by live music and refreshments. The Friends of the Anacortes Community Forest Lands will open their new office, showcasing photography of local forest lands by Mark Gardner. Scott Milo Gallery will present its 10th annual "Little Gems" show, featuring 70 selected works from regional plein air artists. The Studios Above Scott Milo Gallery will display a range of vibrant artworks, while Creative Hub will host a Make & Take art project, allowing attendees to craft handmade items.

Clayhouse will conduct pottery wheel demonstrations, further engaging the community. This event highlights the importance of local commerce and artistry, enhancing community spirit and cultural engagement.
