Yeobo Cafe and Bar now softly open on E Madison

Seattle, WALocal News

Yeobo Cafe and Bar has recently opened its doors on E Madison, revitalizing the space previously occupied by Two Doors Down with a focus on Korean-American comfort food. Chef Mars Minas, a first-time restaurateur, faced numerous challenges including a gas leak and health department regulations, yet successfully launched the cafe's soft opening. The menu features cold case musubi and espresso drinks, with plans to introduce breakfast sandwiches and brunch options in the coming weeks. Minas is committed to creating a welcoming environment that encourages community engagement and support for local initiatives. She emphasizes the political implications of business ownership, urging patrons to connect with their neighbors and support small businesses.

By the end of March, Yeobo plans to unveil a full cocktail menu and late-night offerings, enhancing its role as a community gathering spot. Located at 2332 E Madison, the cafe is open Friday through Monday, with updated hours available on their Instagram. Yeobo Cafe and Bar aims to combine culinary creativity with a strong sense of social responsibility in an ever-evolving neighborhood landscape.
