The City of Sammamish is organizing a Storm Debris Collection Event on December 14, 2024, from 8 a. m. to 12 p. m. at 2600 244th Ave.

SE. This initiative is designed to assist residents in safely and efficiently disposing of storm debris, aiding community recovery after significant storm damage. Participation is limited to Sammamish residents, who must present a valid ID or utility bill as proof of residency. Accepted materials include organic tree debris from the bomb cyclone; however, leaves, bagged materials, and food waste will not be accepted. For safety, children must remain in vehicles, and all loads will be inspected.

The collection site will close at noon or when it reaches capacity, so residents are encouraged to arrive early.
