Man Dies in Shed Fire in Lynnwood

A tragic incident occurred on December 3, 2024, when a man in his 20s lost his life in a shed fire in unincorporated Lynnwood. The fire was reported to South County Fire just after 8 a. m. , prompting a swift response from firefighters. Upon arrival, they discovered the shed fully engulfed in flames, which had been utilized as living quarters.

Firefighters acted quickly to extinguish the blaze, managing to prevent it from spreading to the adjacent home. However, despite their efforts, they found the deceased man inside the shed after the fire was extinguished. Thankfully, no other individuals were harmed in the incident. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Fire Marshal’s Office, is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire. This incident highlights the dangers associated with living in unpermitted or temporary structures and emphasizes the importance of fire safety measures.
