Leland Miyawaki to speak at Sept. 9 meeting of Olympic Fly Fishers
Leland Miyawaki, an esteemed Puget Sound fly angler and conservation advocate, will address the Olympic Fly Fishers of Edmonds on September 9. His topic, "Topwater Fly Fishing for Sea-run Cutthroat and Coho Salmon," will explore techniques for attracting surface strikes from these fish. The presentation will showcase his minimalist approach and the development of the famous Miyawaki Beach Popper. The public meeting begins at 5:30 p. m.
