Melody Arunga joins Pacific Crest Savings Bank as senior credit analyst

Melody Arunga has joined Pacific Crest Savings Bank in Lynnwood as a senior credit analyst, bringing over 20 years of experience in retail and commercial lending. In her new position, she will work closely with the bank's commercial lending team to evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness and help secure favorable terms for clients. CEO Sheryl Nilson highlighted Arunga's expertise, stating it enhances the bank's ability to serve its clients effectively. Arunga previously worked in retail lending for a decade before moving into commercial lending, aiming to broaden her professional knowledge. She was attracted to Pacific Crest for its dedication to charitable work and the impressive longevity of its team members.

Originally from Kenya, Arunga relocated to Michigan for college and later moved to Washington to be close to family. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys dancing and singing, particularly Zumba. Her commitment to helping small business owners reflects her passion for community impact through financial services.
