Police in Everett arrested David Lee Craft, a 40-year-old, for the murder of landlord Daniel Lytton, whose body was found on November 6, 2025. Lytton was reported missing a day earlier, prompting local residents to search for him. The body, wrapped in a blanket and duct tape, was located in an alley, raising concerns about the crime's nature. Major Crimes detectives identified Craft through witness statements and forensic evidence, leading to a second-degree murder charge.
