The Floretum Garden Club invites applications for grants up to $1,000 for gardening initiatives in the Edmonds School District, with a deadline on November 21. These grants support projects that promote gardening activities and horticultural education, benefiting students for the 2025-2026 school year. Funds can be allocated for developing school gardens, purchasing instructional materials, and enhancing classroom projects. Recently, grants were awarded to Brier, Cedar Way, Edmonds, Hazelwood, Oak Heights, and Spruce Elementary Schools for the 2024-2045 school year, funding projects such as pollinator gardens and worm composting bins. Eligible applicants include school administrators, teachers, and designated representatives, who can apply for funds that will be awarded in January 2026.
