St. Albans to hold drive-thru food drive Saturday, Nov. 15

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will conduct a drive-thru food drive on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a. m. to 2 p.

m. All donations will benefit the Edmonds Food Bank and other local food banks, which face growing challenges due to rising food costs and uncertainties regarding SNAP benefits. Local food banks emphasize the importance of community support in meeting the needs of those experiencing food insecurity. Recommended donations include non-perishable items such as soups, canned meat, and peanut butter, as well as diapers and infant formula. Cash donations are also welcomed, with checks made payable to St.

Alban’s marked for the food drive. Volunteers will be on-site at the church, located at 21405 82nd Pl. W. , to collect contributions. This event highlights the ongoing efforts to combat food insecurity in the Edmonds area.

Community involvement is crucial as local food banks report increased demand for assistance.
