“We’re All In!” City of Dallas Kicks Off Welcoming Week 2024

The City of Dallas is gearing up for Welcoming Week 2024, scheduled from September 13 to 22, an annual campaign designed to celebrate the city's efforts in fostering inclusive communities for immigrants and residents alike. The initiative, led by the Office of Equity and Inclusion, invites individuals and organizations to participate in various events that showcase values of belonging and connection. Assistant City Manager Liz Cedillo Pereira highlighted the importance of unity, stating that Dallas, as the first Certified Welcoming City in Texas, exemplifies how diverse cultures can drive growth and innovation.
