Celebrate Burien Actors Theatres re-emergence with 'Fire Watch Party' Dec. 10
Burien Actors Theatre will host the 'Fire Watch 2014 Party' on December 10 to celebrate its revival following a fire that occurred in 2013. The event will feature a live performance by The Superchargers, a band comprised of musicians who regularly perform in BAT's productions. Attendees can expect heavy hors d'oeuvres, fire-themed drinks, and opportunities for dancing and improv during the band's breaks, all for a ticket price of $5. BAT requests that guests RSVP by noon on the day of the event to help with food arrangements. Established in 1955 and incorporated in 1980, BAT has a history of providing high-quality theatrical experiences to the Seattle and south Puget Sound community.
The theater operates as a nonprofit organization, relying on ticket sales, donations, and grants to fund its productions. This celebratory event not only thanks those who supported BAT during its recovery but also aims to raise funds for future performances. The party exemplifies BAT's mission to engage and invigorate local audiences with unique theatrical experiences.
