Auburn Police seize 11 pounds of meth, fentanyl and 14 firearms in major narcotics arrest

The Auburn Police Department conducted a successful operation on Nov. 12, resulting in the arrest of two men and the seizure of large quantities of drugs and firearms. Officers recovered about 176 ounces of methamphetamine, equating to 11 pounds, as well as 3 ounces of fentanyl powder. Additionally, they confiscated 14 firearms, including a stolen AR-15 rifle. This operation was part of a months-long investigation led by the department’s Special Investigations Unit, demonstrating a thorough approach to tackling drug-related crime.

Valley SWAT and other divisions assisted in the operation, highlighting the collaborative effort to enhance community safety. Police underscored that these arrests are critical in removing dangerous substances and weapons from circulation.
